Creating Your First Broadcast

Broadcasts let you send a WhatsApp template message to a large list of contacts at once — ideal for promotions, product launches, and order updates.

Before you start #

• You need at least one connected WhatsApp channel
• You need at least one approved message template
• Your contacts must be imported into Baat

Creating a broadcast #

1. Go to Broadcast in the left navigation
2. Click New Broadcast
3. Select audience — choose contacts individually, from a segment, or upload a list
4. Select template — pick an approved WhatsApp template from the dropdown
5. Configure send time — send immediately or schedule for a specific date and time
6. Review the summary and click Send (or Schedule)

Broadcast statuses #

• Draft — Saved but not yet sent
• Pending — Currently being sent
• Scheduled — Queued for a future send time
• Completed — All messages have been processed
• Failed — An error occurred; check the campaign detail for the failure breakdown

Plan limits #

The number of broadcasts you can run per month depends on your plan. If the New Broadcast button is locked, you have reached your monthly quota. Upgrade your plan or wait for the next billing cycle.
