Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The trial starts without a card and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan at the end of it.
What do I need before I begin?
A phone number for your business, and access to your store if you want to connect it. The simplest case is a number not yet on WhatsApp. If the number is already on the WhatsApp Business app, you can keep using the app on that number: Baat supports coexistence onboarding, which connects the number to the API and keeps your chat history. Do not delete the app account first — that route loses the history. Meta also requires business verification, which you can start during setup.
What happens when the trial ends?
You choose a plan to continue, or the account pauses. Your conversations and contacts are not deleted when a trial lapses.
