Flash Sale Broadcasts
Announce it where it gets read.
A flash sale only works if people hear about it in time. WhatsApp reaches them in minutes, and the replies come straight back to your team.
The problem
A short sale lives or dies on how fast the announcement travels. Email arrives late and competes with everything else in the inbox; social posts reach whoever the algorithm decides to show them to. Neither is reliable when the window is measured in hours. The risk with WhatsApp is the opposite one: it is so direct that blasting an entire contact list is a fast way to get blocked and to lose sending capacity for every future campaign. The value is in sending to the right segment, not the biggest one.
How it works
Set it up once. Then leave it running.
-
Build the segment
Filter by purchase history, cart value, location or tags, so the offer goes to people it plausibly suits rather than to everyone.
-
Schedule the send
Pick the moment, use an approved template with personalised fields, and let it go out at the time you chose.
-
Watch it land
Delivery, open and reply rates update as the campaign runs, so you can see whether it is working while you can still act on it.
Message sequence
What your customer actually receives.
Every step is configurable — change the timing, drop a step, or keep it to a single message.

Segment before you send
The instinct with a sale is to tell everybody. It is the wrong instinct on WhatsApp, because the cost of an irrelevant message is not zero — it is a block, and blocks compound into a lower quality rating and a smaller sending allowance.
Sending to people who bought a related category, or who have browsed in the last month, usually produces more orders than sending to everyone, from a fraction of the messages.
Write for a small screen
A broadcast is read on a phone, in a second or two, probably between other things. Lead with the offer and the deadline. Put the link where a thumb lands. Anything that needs a paragraph of setup belongs on the landing page, not in the message.
Plan for the replies
A good campaign generates questions — about sizing, delivery, whether the discount stacks. Those replies arrive in the shared inbox, and answering them quickly is often where the sale is actually made. Staff the inbox for the hour after a send, not just the send itself.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can I message at once?
Your plan sets a per-campaign recipient limit, and Meta applies its own sending tier to your number on top of that. Those tiers rise over time as long as your quality rating holds, so early campaigns are usually smaller than later ones.
Do sale announcements need an approved template?
Yes. Promotional messages have to use a template Meta has approved in advance. You submit templates from inside Baat, and once approved you can personalise the variable fields for each recipient.
How do I avoid annoying people into blocking me?
Send to segments rather than your whole list, keep the frequency low, and make opting out easy. Blocks and reports lower your quality rating, and a lowered rating reduces how many messages you can send to everyone.
