Choose AiSensy if you want to build the automation yourself this afternoon. Their drag-and-drop chatbot builder is genuinely no-code, with flows triggered by keywords, and it is the one in this set most likely to get a non-technical marketer to a working bot without help. Their trial is longer than ours at fourteen days with no card, and they run a free forever plan on top of it, so the cost of finding out is close to zero. If your requirement is a self-serve chatbot rather than a connected stack, start there.

Choose Baat if…
Choose Baat if your WhatsApp needs to join up with the rest of your tools. AiSensy's own integrations page pairs HubSpot with Zapier rather than listing it as a native connection, which means another subscription, another place for a sync to break, and a delay between something happening and your CRM knowing about it. Ours is native. We also document Meta's WhatsApp Flows, which their feature page does not mention, and we publish a full API reference and webhook payloads for teams who want to build on top.

Both run a shared inbox on one WhatsApp number with conversations assigned to agents, both send broadcast campaigns, both offer AI agents, and both integrate with Shopify natively. Both are Indian products sold to Indian businesses, and both bill Meta’s per-message fees separately from the subscription.
Where they are ahead
The chatbot builder. AiSensy’s is drag-and-drop, keyword-triggered and genuinely usable without help. If you want to build the automation yourself rather than brief somebody, it is the easiest starting point here.
The trial. Fourteen days with no card, plus a free forever plan. Ours is seven days. That is a real difference and there is no clever way to present it otherwise.
Where we are ahead
HubSpot. We read their integrations page on 18 August 2026. It lists Shopify as its own integration, and presents HubSpot in the phrase “Connect across Apps like Hubspot and Shopify using Zapier”. So HubSpot appears to go through Zapier — another subscription, another failure point, and a lag between a conversation happening and your CRM knowing. Baat’s HubSpot integration is native, on the Business plan.
WhatsApp Flows. Their feature page describes a Chatbot Flow Builder and drag-and-drop chatbots. Those are conversation trees the platform runs. Meta’s WhatsApp Flows are something else: multi-screen forms rendered by WhatsApp itself, returning structured data — the right tool for a booking, a lead form or an address capture. We document them, including the JSON structure.
Developer documentation. We publish an API reference with error codes and webhook payloads. If your team is going to build on top, being able to read the contract before you buy is worth something.
How to decide
If you want a chatbot you can build yourself today, take their fourteen-day trial — it costs you nothing and it is the honest recommendation. If your WhatsApp has to feed a CRM you already run, or if Flows are on your roadmap, take ours and compare them side by side. Running both trials at once is entirely reasonable and we would do the same.
Frequently asked questions
Is AiSensy's HubSpot integration native?
Their integrations page presents HubSpot alongside Zapier, in the words 'Connect across Apps like Hubspot and Shopify using Zapier'. Shopify is listed separately as its own integration, HubSpot is not. So on the evidence of their own page it goes through Zapier. If they have since shipped a native one, tell us and we will correct this.
AiSensy's trial is longer. Why is yours seven days?
Theirs is fourteen days with no card, plus a free forever plan, and that is genuinely more generous than our seven days. Our answer is that a WhatsApp platform is usually decided in the first few days, once your number is connected and a real campaign has gone out. If you need longer, ask and we will extend it — that is easier than pretending the difference is not there.
Does AiSensy support WhatsApp Flows?
Their feature page does not mention them. It describes their own Chatbot Flow Builder and drag-and-drop chatbots, which are a different thing — those are conversation trees the platform runs, while Flows are multi-screen forms rendered by WhatsApp itself. That is a statement about what they publish, not proof of what they have built.
Do both need a WhatsApp Business API account?
Yes. Both are built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, so both require Meta business verification and a number that is set up for the API. Neither can shortcut that, and any platform claiming otherwise is worth a second look.
