Baat vs Interakt — an honest comparison
Interakt includes unlimited agent seats on every paid plan, which is a real structural advantage if your support team grows. Baat differs in two checkable ways: it documents Meta's WhatsApp Flows, and its AI agents are part of the Business plan rather than a separately priced add-on.
Everything below about Interakt was read from their own website on 18 August 2026, and every cell links to the page it came from. We make one of these two tools — read it with that in mind.

The honest part
-
Choose Interakt if…
Choose Interakt if headcount is your main variable. Unlimited agents on every paid plan means a support team that doubles does not double its software bill, and every other tool in this comparison — ours included — charges by the seat in some form. If you are staffing a large inbox, or if seasonal peaks mean adding temporary agents, that structure will beat ours on cost and it is not close. They also run a separate sales CRM product if you want pipeline and conversations in one place.

Choose Baat if…
Choose Baat if WhatsApp Flows matter, or if you would rather AI agents came with the plan than as an add-on you price separately. Interakt sells WhatsApp AI Agents as a paid extra on top of a Growth or Advanced subscription; on Baat, three AI agents are part of Business. And while Interakt documents a WhatsApp Forms builder, their page never says whether it is built on Meta's Flows — we document Flows explicitly, including the JSON structure and how to send one from a template.
What is genuinely the same
Both give a team a shared WhatsApp inbox, run one-time and ongoing broadcast campaigns, connect to Shopify, connect to HubSpot, and expose public APIs with webhooks. Both are built for Indian businesses rather than adapted for them.
Where they are ahead
Seats. Interakt includes unlimited agents on every paid plan. Baat gives three on Starter, ten on Growth and twenty-five on Business. If you run a large or seasonal support team, that difference compounds and it will not be close. We would rather you knew that now than found it on your third invoice.
A separate sales CRM. They sell a Sales CRM product alongside the messaging platform. If you want pipeline management and conversations from one vendor, that is a real answer. Baat pushes into HubSpot instead, which is the right shape if you already run HubSpot and the wrong one if you do not.
Where we are ahead
AI agents come with the plan. Interakt sells WhatsApp AI Agents as a paid add-on on top of a Growth or Advanced subscription. On Baat, three AI agents are part of the Business plan. Whether that is cheaper depends on the tier you would land on, so compare the totals rather than the headline.
WhatsApp Flows. Flows are Meta’s native interactive forms — multiple screens that open inside the chat and return structured answers, so a customer can book a slot or complete a lead form without leaving the conversation.
Interakt documents a “WhatsApp Forms” builder, but we read that page on 18 August 2026 and it never says whether it is built on Meta’s Flows. We are recording that as unclear rather than as an absence, because those are not the same thing and it would be unfair to claim otherwise. What we can say is what we document: the Flow JSON structure, sending a Flow from a message template, and driving one from Dialogflow.
How to decide
Count your agents. If the number is large or unpredictable, Interakt’s seat model is likely to win on cost and you should weigh that seriously. If your team is small and steady and you want Flows or bundled AI agents, try Baat free for seven days.
Frequently asked questions
Does Interakt support WhatsApp Flows?
We could not establish it either way, and we would rather say so than guess. They document a WhatsApp Forms builder, but the page does not state whether it uses Meta's Flows or their own form technology. Those are different things with different capabilities, so ask them directly if it matters to your use case.
Is unlimited agents really better?
For a growing support team, usually yes, and we are not going to argue otherwise. Work out your bill at the headcount you expect in a year rather than today. Seats stop being the deciding factor only if something else on your list — Flows, or bundled AI agents — outweighs it.
Why is Interakt's price not in the comparison table?
Their pricing page carries several products across monthly, quarterly and annual terms. The arithmetic tells us which figures are discounted equivalents of each other, but not reliably which plan each belongs to, and publishing a misattributed price for a named company is worse than publishing none. Read it from their site.
Do both charge Meta's message fees separately?
Yes. Every platform in this category charges a subscription, and Meta charges separately for each template message delivered. Compare the subscriptions against each other, then add Meta's fees on top for both equally — they do not differ by platform.
